Dolores we are so sorry to hear about "Silly Grandpa" as Kalee and Trevor so fondly called him. There wasn't a time he failed to bring a smile to our faces and make the kiddos laugh. Take peace in knowing him and Red are up there together now, sharing good times and watching over all of us here. Please don't be afraid to call if you need anything. We will bring the kids by to visit. We explained to them that "Silly Grandpa" is with Great Grandpa Red now, and they would like to visit "Silly Grandma". Again if you need anything, please call. Love and prayers, Todd, Tammy, Kalee and Trevor.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Willy. My sincere condolences go out to you, Mrs. Derge, and the entire family. I first met Willy some years ago when he started at the West Bend Post Office, then we lost touch for a number of years, and fortunately for me, 12 years ago at my first Legion meeting in Allenton, when I walked into the room there was Willy. He said I should sit next to him, which of course I did, and have been privileged to do so from then on. I truly looked forward to those Legion meetings, and sitting next to Willy, because to me it was an honor to do so. He was the finest example of "The Greatest Generation", as men of his era are referred to. To me the Allenton meetings will never be the same, because there will be an empty chair next to me that will never be filled. You know, I asked Willy once why do we sit at the last table in the room, in the back, why not up closer? He said, and I'll never forget the look he gave me with this twinkle in his eyes , he said, "Because we're closer to the kitchen for the lunch at the end of the meeting!" I will never forget Mr. Willard Derge, and will always treasure the time we had together. God's Blessings to you all during this very difficult time.
