So sorry to see that Margaret has passed away. We've been in touch for many years exchanging genealogy information, but not recently. My husband is a second cousin once removed of Margaret's. They are related through the Robbins and Cryslers. It was delightful visiting with her. She and I are both Alpha Chi's. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and hope to maintain contact in some way. Peace be with you all.

My deepest sympathy to the entire family and friends. We lost our mothers after each had a loving, long and productive life of giving. I hope you can share the wonderful memories of both your Dad and Mom with each other.
I shall pray for you to celebrate and to rejoice of a great life lived.

My sincere condolences to the Nielson family. I have great memories of Margaret both in West Bend and later on at Shabino's annual Christmas party in Barrington.

It is with great admiration for Margaret Nielsen, a very accomplished and distinguished woman in many endeavors, and as a member of DAR, that I add my condolences to her family. Without a doubt her talents have served others well.

Dear Mrs. Nielsen; Gifts and fond memories are made with time spent with kind people. You were our brownie leader. After school at McLane School, Susan would lead us to walk to your home. We had a great time learning together, and I can still hear your voice in my head. That was a gift from your heart to all of us brownie/girl scouts.
Heart felt sympathy to Susan my classmate and the entire Nielsen family.

The UWWC Ambassador Council is so deeply saddened to hear of our dear friend's passing. She was a founding and faithful member of our group. We will always be grateful to her for her vision and wholehearted belief in higher education right here in Washington County. Margaret lives on in our hearts, as does the memory of her warm smile and generous spirit.

Where to begin, maybe with one of my first of great memories with you and "us" girls with a "perfectly packed" cute cardboard lunch box (before cute lunchboxes) for our trip to Penny Island, oh how I loved that big back porch at the last lakehouse and the many years you've gotten this big, fun and crazy fun family together under one roof! You should be proud and at Peace we are here because of you and will continue our traditions! We love YOU!!
