Dear Behn Family,
I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Behn. I am also sorry I won't be able to attend the funeral but know I'll be there in spirit. Growing up I spent a lot of time over at your cottage playing with Stephanie and Jenny and I always thought of her as a bit of second grandma. When I think about her I remember her walking over in the water to chat with my Grandma and Jackie on the pier. I can still hear her voice with her slight accent from "out east". I was always so impressed by her willingness to go for a swim well into her 80's. The cottage will not be the same without her but her presence will always be there. Sending you lots of hugs and I'm keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers.

carol and hubby john were a class act- myself and my parents enjoyed their company. they were a delight to be with whether playing cards- shaking dice or just socializing. they were very intelligent and thoughtful people who will be greatly missed. i had a chance to spend some time with carol this summer- i miss them both
