As the mother of Barbara's grandchildren, I was lucky enough to spend the early years of my own and my children's lives around her. Spending time with Barb was always a pleasure. I've been fortunate to see her on several occasions once she moved back to Wisconsin and I'm thankful for that. She was a sweet, heartfelt woman with a great love of family. She will be missed by many.

I'm sad that we can't bake cookies again.
I'm sad I won't hear anymore stories.
I'm sad I can't drink tea or have my Turkish coffee grounds read by you again like I did when I was younger.
I'm sad that I can't eat lemon wedges in front of you just to hear you laugh at my silliness.
I'm sad that you never had the chance to meet your great-grandson, Evan in person, only in pictures.
I'm sad that we couldn't chat for more time on the phone each time I called.
I'm sad that I can't get a hug from you again...
I will miss you Grandma!
