Erwin F. Lenk, Jr

Erwin F. “Erv” Lenk, Jr., age 91 years, of West Bend was called home to be with the Lord on April 29, 2023 at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon.

Erwin was born on December 2, 1931 in Milwaukee to the late Erwin Sr. and Rose Lenk. He was united in marriage to Geraldine “Gerrie” Pokora on May 19, 1956 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in West Allis.  Gerrie passed away on October 30, 2020.

Erwin enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and he had a great knack for selecting the winning slot machine.  He was drafted into the United States Army and served in Korea.

Those Erwin leaves behind to cherish his memory include three children, Lynda (Donald) Bauer, Lori Loveless, and Jeffrey (special friend Cindy Teska) Lenk; two grandchildren, Danielle (fiancé Jeff Fox) Loveless and Austin (special friend Brooke Gibson) Loveless; three great-grandchildren, Jayden, Michael, and Liam Loveless. He is further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

In addition to his parents and his wife, Geraldine, Erwin was preceded in death by his brother, Gordon (Ruth) Lenk; sister, Lois (Leonard) Molitor; and his brother-in-law, Norbert (Betty) Pokora.

A private burial service will be held for Erwin’s family at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Milwaukee.

Memorials in Erwin’s name can be sent to Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N 8th St. – West Bend, WI  53095).

Erwin’s family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Herdrich and the staff at Froedtert West Bend Hospital, Lawlis Family Hospice, and Horizon Hospice for the loving care they provided.
