Thomas Schickert

Tom was born on September 18, 1967 in Davenport, Iowa to Thomas and Margie (nee Kiehl) Schickert. He was a parts consultant at Gordie Boucher in West Bend.  Tom loved his rock music, especially listening to Queensryche.  He was a huge Red Wings fan. He enjoyed woodworking and attending the Crandon races. He also enjoyed finding recipes and smoking food. He will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved him.

Those Tom leaves behind to cherish his memory include his mother, Margie; sisters, Julie Baertlein and Lisa (Jim) Cannon; nieces and nephews, Justin Baertlein, Christopher (Renee Barker) Baertlein, Jimmy Cannon, and Brandi (fiancée Zack Morrison) Cannon; great-niece, Payton Cannon; aunt and uncle, Trish and Jack Schickert; and cousins, Matthew (Antje) Schickert and Anne Brown and family.  He is further survived by the love of his life, his dog, Jasmine; and many other relatives and friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Sr. and his grandparents.

A memorial service celebrating Tom’s life will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington St., West Bend, WI 53095).  Please bring a memory of Tom to share at the service.  Inurnment of Tom’s cremated remains will follow the service in Washington County Memorial Park.  Tom’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 8th, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 12:30 pm.
