Reneé Marie Herrmann

Reneé Marie (nee Mortag) Herrmann, 53, of the Village of Richfield, passed away on June 29, 2021 with her family at her side.

Reneé was born on April 21, 1968 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Ray and Janis (nee Krueger) Mortag.  On August 24, 1992 she was united in marriage to Richard P. “Rick” Herrmann, Jr.

Reneé loved to cook, spend time with her friends and family, and watch the wildlife in her yard.  She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.  Reneé was a person with a huge heart who cared for everyone and put their needs before her own. 

Those Reneé leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband of 28 years, Rick; two sons, Richard (Sarah) Herrmann III and Mitchell Herrmann; two grandsons, Richard IV and Connor; father, Ray Mortag; mother-in-law, Patricia Herrmann; sisters, Cheryl (Peter) Johnson, Julie (William) Wolf; and aunt, Janet Mortag.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Reneé was preceded in death by her mother, Janis Heineman; maternal grandparents, Harvey and Marie Krueger; paternal grandmother, Gertrude Mortag; godparents, Arvid and Greta Gehrke; and father-in-law, Richard P. Herrmann, Sr.

A memorial service for Reneé will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home (1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI  53095).

Reneé’s family and will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
