Michael S. “Mike” Olson, age 64 years, of West Bend passed away on September 7, 2021, surrounded by loved ones.  He was husband to the love of his life, Ellen J. Olson (Rehbein).  They shared 15.5 years of marriage together.

Mike was born on July 13, 1957 in Milwaukee to Stanley and Suzy Olson (Lanser).  He graduated from Custer High School, and then served his country in the U.S. Army.

Mike enjoyed motorcycling with friends and family, fishing, and deer hunting with his dad on the family farm.

Mike is survived by his wife Ellen; parents, Stanley and Suzy Olson; four daughters, Heather (Adam) Crass, Ashley (Rick) Bonlender, Jackie Olivarez, and Kary Olivarez; and 14 grandchildren; sisters-in-laws and brother-in-laws Wendy Olson, Alice Cochenet, Bernice (Lewis) Towns , Ken (Ann) Rehbein; as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Jon Olson; three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.

To honor Mike’s wishes, family will have a private family service at Washington County Memorial Park.

Mike’s family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Cancer Center & nurses at Horizon Hospice for their care and compassion.
