Joyce A. Kreif

Joyce Ann Kreif, 80, of Kewaskum, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Froedtert Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls with her family at her side.

Joyce was born on March 24, 1941, the daughter of the late Arnold and Malinda (nee Haas) Aupperle. On January 23, 1963, she was united in marriage to Karl Kreif at St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane. Karl preceded Joyce in death on January 24, 1997. Joyce enjoyed watching games shows as well as WWE Wrestling. She loved baking and canning and sharing with others. Joyce LOVED her daily braunschweiger sandwiches and she spent weekly visits with her sister, Shirley.

Those Joyce leaves behind to cherish her memory include her three children, Michael (Sue) Kreif, Randy (Beverly) Kreif, and Ricky (Wendy) Kreif; two step-children, Richard (Marion) Kreif and John (LaVerne) Kreif; three grandchildren, Austin Kreif, Becky (Cale) Anderson, and Rachel Kreif; two great-grandchildren, Myles and Nora Anderson; Ricky’s step children, Matt (Rebecca) Kirst and Sami (Garrett) Backhaus; step-great-grandchildren, Chloe and Eloise; other step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Aupperle and Darlene Aupperle; a brother, Ronald (Darlene) Aupperle; a sister-in-law, Carol Aupperle; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Joyce was preceded in death by a step-son, Robert Kreif; three brothers, Jack Aupperle, Eugene Aupperle, James Aupperle; a nephew, Jim Aupperle.

Graveside services will be held at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in West Bend on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Noon with Rev. Mark Eckert officiating.

The family would like to thank the Kewaskum Fire and Rescue Department along with the staff at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls, and a special thank you to all of Joyce’s supportive neighbors over the years.
