Grace Batzler Obituary
Grace H. Batzler (Theusch), age 78 years, of Kewaskum was called home to be with the Lord on October 5, 2020 at Gables on The Pond in Random Lake surrounded by her family.
Grace was born on May 25, 1942 in West Bend to Edward and Evelyn Theusch (Eckhart) She was united in marriage to Gerald Batzler on October 26, 1963 at Holy Trintiy Catholic Church in Kewaskum. Gerald passed away on November 24, 1998.
Grace graduated from Kewaksum High School in 1960. She enjoyed polka music and loved going to dances on Sunday afternoon.
Those Grace leaves behind to cherish her memory include her two sons, Roger Batzler of Town of Wayne and Thomas (Sharon “Babes”) Batzler of Theresa; granddog, Colby; brother, Ralph Theusch of West Bend; and sisters-in-law, Susie Batzler of St. Kilian and JoAnne (Ray) Sippel of Wacousta. She is further survived by special cousins, Carol Jean, Elaine, Lorraine, Darlene, and Rita; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Gerald; Grace was preceded in death by her sister, Pearl Theusch.
Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at St. Kilian Catholic Church (N189 County Rd W – Campbellsport, WI 53010) from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm.
Due to current restrictions, a Private Family Mass of Christian Burial for Grace will be held at 4:00 pm with Father Mark Jones officiating. Private Interment at St. Kilian Catholic Cemetery following Mass.
Grace’s family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff Gables on the Pond and Heartland Hospice for the loving care they provided.
