Frank Roy Wantz

Frank Roy Wantz, Sr.  Age 74 of Lomira died on April 20, 2022.

Born July 4, 1947 in Emmitsburg, Maryland.  He was the son of the late John Russell and Henrietta (nee Bauer) Wantz. 

Frank is survived by his only son, Frank and Amy (nee Wessing) Wantz of LeRoy, three grandchildren, Ryan, Collin, and Spencer; three brothers, Jerry Roland Wantz of Emmitsburg, MD, Donald EugeneWantz of Waynesboro, PA, and Leonard Alvin Wantz of Knowles, WI; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by four brothers, John Russell Wantz Jr, Robert Henry Wantz, Wilbur Lee Wantz, and Tommy Egar Wantz; and two sisters, Virginia Ann Welty and Dorothy Elizabeth Cool.

Frank graduated from Emmitsburg High School.  He moved to Wisconsin in 1968, and worked for West Bend Company for many years.  Frank loved spending time with his son and grandchildren.  He was a car enthusiast and held old Fords from the 50s and 60s and Ford Mustangs in high regard!  Frank also liked listening to the “Oldies but Goodies” music of 50s and 60s.  He enjoyed building model cars, toy cars, and collecting antiques.  Frank also appreciated  the simple things in life, like driving around on the back country roads.
