Carol M (Zellmer) Struck

Carol M. Struck (nee Zellmer), 81, of West Bend passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.

She was born on October 23, 1940, to the late Byron and Isabelle (nee Kern) Zellmer in Milwaukee, WI.   Carol raised Chris, Dan, Mike and Pat with Hoye Robinson.  She received her master’s degree and worked as a family therapist for many years.  In 2000, she married Richard Struck and they enjoyed wintering in Arizona.   Carol enjoyed traveling, hiking, theater and riding her Harley.   Carol especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory include her four children, Chris (Linda) Robinson, Dan Robinson, Mike (Sandy) Robinson, and Pat (Jennie) Robinson; seven grandchildren, Sara Gomez, Shawn (Lisa) Robinson, Sarah Robinson, Alyssa (Will) Krumholz, Katelyn Robinson, Alex (Stephanie) Robinson and Jacob Robinson; two great-grandchildren, Mila and Emery; a sister, Susan (John) Schultz; two brothers, John Zellmer and Bill Zellmer; former husband, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Struck, and a sister-in-law, Janice Zellmer.

A memorial service in remembrance of Carol will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Inurnment will follow at Washington County Memorial Park

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Ivy Manor and Preceptor Home Care & Hospice for all their help and care.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorials in Carol’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
