Tracy Ann
Meyer
Jul 19, 1963 — Oct 14, 2026
West Bend
Tracy Ann Meyer (Gundrum). Born on July 19, 1963- October 14,2026.
Tracy was a very strong, caring, passionate and loving person. Tracy was married to the love of her life; married for 43 years. During their years of growing together they enjoyed camping and traveling. Some of her favorite places to drive to were up north or Florida. Tracy was well known for her love of gardening, cultivating flowers and vegetables with the skill of a farmer. She even saved and replanted all the pine trees from her yard. All the vegetables that she grew were either given away to family, friends and neighbors or she cooked with them like a culinary genius. Tracy could make a meal from anything; there was nothing going to waste in the leftover department. She would say a little dash of this and a sprinkle of that and walla we have dinner. Her kids would frequent stop over or call and say “mom what’s for dinner” she would always have something or cook you whatever you were hungry for. In spring she would travel with her daughters to every garden center in Wisconsin filling their cars to the brim with flowers! Tracy worked for the West Bend School food and nutrition- she devoted years to her job helping kids with their special diets.
One of Tracy’s best traits was being a mother. She had 4 children; Samantha, Maxwell, Jillian and Patrick. She faithfully committed years to being a very hands-on mom. She guided and taught them through all of life’s challenges. There wasn’t a question she couldn’t answer or a problem she could not solve. Tracy never stopped teaching. She also had 7 grandchildren and countless “grand dogs”! She shined at being a grandma. She always wanted to see them; she traveled to concerts or sports games. Wherever the grandchildren wanted her to be at, she was there for. Her older grandkids would call her and spend hours FaceTiming with her making goofy faces. Grandma was everyone’s safe and happy place.
Tracy grew up on Wallace Lake; she was a “Lakie” through and through. Wallace lake was part of her soul. She always raced to get in her boat first and out last. If you couldn’t find her at night while stopping over, she would be sitting in her pontoon boat reading and watching the sunset.
Over the summer Tracy and her family would celebrate the Fourth of July. Tracy only knew how to go big at this time of year. Her extended family came and stayed at the house. She would fill her driveway with campers, so everyone had a space. She always had an open door for them as they traveled from Arizona (Quillan’s and Hansons) and up north (Helds) to stay. She would fill the house with love and laughter. We often would stay up playing games, working on puzzles and munching on food celebrating as a family.
Tracy lost her battle with cancer but fought hard with resilience and optimism. She will forever be missed.
Per Tracy’s wishes no funeral services will be held.
