Thomas Edward Potter, age 79, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025. He was born on September 3, 1946, to Wilford and Bernice (nee Kocher) Potter.

Thomas graduated from West Bend High School in 1964 and later attended the University of Oshkosh. Throughout his life, he worked numerous jobs, demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication.

A man of deep faith, Thomas was a devoted Christian. He attended Bible studies regularly and loved to participate in church services whenever possible. His strong spiritual foundation was a guiding light in his life, and he was always eager to share the love of Christ with others.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Thomas was an avid fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, the Bucks, and the Green Bay Packers as well as Wisconsin football. He cherished attending many games, often traveling out of state with his family to share in the excitement and camaraderie of cheering on his favorite teams.

Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Judy Buddenhagen, and her husband, Floyd Buddenhagen. He is survived by his nephew, Tim Buddenhagen (wife Shelly); nephew, Chris Buddenhagen; and his niece Amy Luft (husband Tim). He is also survived by numerous aunts, cousins, great-nieces, and a great-nephew, all of whom will dearly miss him.

Thomas will be remembered for his kind heart, his love of family, his deep faith, and his unwavering support of the teams he cheered for. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A private family service will be held in Thomas’ honor.
