Terrence L. "Terry" Datka, 71, of West Bend, was born to eternal life on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital, West Bend.

He was born on October 17, 1941 in Milwaukee to the late Louis and Alice (nee Rutowski) Datka. Terry retired from the Milwaukee Police Department Detective Bureau and was a bomb squad technician. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Moose Lodge and Eagle Lodge.

He is lovingly survived by his fiancAC.e, Lucille Sincere; his children, Alan Datka, Jamie (John) Doyle, Barbara (Don) Redman, and Kelli (Jason) Mountford; his grandchildren, Ryan (Rena), Jonathan (Holly), Terrence, Beau, Erin, Ian, and Amber; his sister, Gloria Ludka, many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jean (nee Hebert) and his parents, Alice and Louis Datka.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 6 at 3:00 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 138 North 8th Ave., West Bend. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Private burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.
