Staci Elizabeth Ruback, age 38, a baptized child of God, was born on August 20th, 1987, and was called home to her heavenly Father on January 22nd, 2026.
Throughout Staci’s life, she stood unwavering on the solid rock of Jesus. Even as storms raged around her, her faith remained steadfast and true. She shared her beliefs with a courageous heart and inspired others with her boldness. Among her greatest joys was being the devoted mother of her beloved son, Leo. She cherished every moment watching him play baseball and basketball, beaming with pride as she cheered him on from the sidelines. Staci’s artistry and passion for hairstyling shone brightly, as she found joy in making others feel beautiful and confident. Her infectious sense of humor lit up countless faces, bringing laughter and warmth to family and friends alike. As a child, Staci’s whimsical spirit was evident when she declared she wanted to grow up to be an elephant, a love that never faded. Elephants, symbols of strength and perseverance, perfectly mirrored Staci’s patience, resilience, and strength throughout her remarkable journey and life perfectly.
Staci’s memory will be cherished and her presence deeply missed by her beloved eleven-year-old son, Leo Ruback; her devoted parents, Mark and Sandra (née Dummann) Ruback; her loving brothers, Nathan (Amanda) Ruback and Adam (Alison) Ruback; and her adored nieces and nephews, Ian, Eli, Paige, and Kara Ruback. She is also mourned by her maternal grandmother, Lois Dummann, and her paternal grandmother, Barbra Ruback. Staci’s extended family, including her aunts and uncles, Linda Dillard, Peter (Darlene) Dummann, Henry (Jean) Dummann, David (Jolee) Dummann, and Randy (Robin) Ruback, along with many cherished cousins, will hold her close in their hearts. She will be fondly remembered by Dustin Voelkner and his parents, Mark and Pam Voelkner, whose lives she touched with warmth and kindness.
Those who precede her in entering the heavenly gates are her maternal grandfather, Henry Dummann; her paternal grandfather, Leonard Ruback; her uncle Jack Dillard; and her cousin Melanie Cavazos.
