Shirley A. Mason (nee Luebstorf), 82, of Theresa, found peace on Monday, July 18, 2022, at her home with her family by her side.

Shirley was born on February 25, 1940, to the late Ralph and Mary (nee Freimund) Luebstorf in Stevens Point, WI. She grew up in Wausau, WI, and graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee, WI. On August 6, 1960, she was united in marriage to Seth Mason III. Most of her working career was in retail, and she worked as a manager at Kohl’s Department Store until retirement. She loved traveling, sewing, camping, and riding in her golf cart she named “The Buggy “. In her later years, she enjoyed car rides, and delighted in sitting in the back and being called  “Miss Daisy”. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Shirley leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years, Seth Mason III; four children, Sherle Lynn (Larry) Dickerson, Shelly (Steve) Sutton, Seth “Sonny” (Shelley) Mason IV, and Sean (Tracie) Mason; 11 grandchildren, Greg Hanna, Travis Hanna, Christopher (Heather) Hanna, Brandon Mason, Shaina (Larry) Hannaman, Nathan Miescke, Tony Mason, Melinda Mason, Aliah Mason, Noah Mason, and Jonah Mason; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister, Beverly Skornia; a brother, LaVern Luebstorf; a sister-in-law, Sandra Luebstorf; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by three sisters, Bernice Luebstorf, Florence (Jim) Highley, and Lucille (Dick) Dooley; a brother, Donald Luebstorf; and a brother-in-law, Tom Skornia.

A memorial service in remembrance of Shirley will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 350 Main Street, Lomira, WI.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:15 p.m.
