Ronald “Ron” Arthur Taubenheim, Sr., age 90 years, of Jackson was called home to be with the Lord on April 20, 2026.
Ron was born on March 11, 1936, in Milwaukee to the late Arthur and Virginia Taubenheim (nee Krueger). He was united in marriage to Catherine Mary Galusha, she passed away in 1987. He was united in marriage to Barbara “Barbie” Nitsch (nee Crowell) on February 11, 1989, she passed away in 2021.
Ron graduated from Boys Tech in Milwaukee. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 1953 to 1956, during the Korean Conflict in Atsugi, Japan. Ron was able to visit Washington, DC on the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight in September of 2023. He was a career Machine Operator and Foreman at Briggs and Stratton from 1955 to 1990.
Those Ron leaves behind to cherish his memory include four children, Catherine Taubenheim, Christopher (Tammy) Taubenheim, Ronald (Theresa) Taubenheim, Jr, and Thomas (Karen) Taubenheim; five step-children, Debra (Jeff) Grohall, Terri (Larry) Krane; Shelley Taylor, Scott (Maria) Nitsch, and Steve (Susie) Nitsch. He is further survived by 24 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
VISITATION: Ron’s family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 2300 S Main St. West Bend, WI 53095.
SERVICE: A Funeral Service in remembrance of Ron will take place promptly at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday at Church with Pastor Luke Love officiating. Military Honors will follow the service at Church. A graveside service and burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Racine.
Memorials in Ron’s name can be made to Stars and Stripes Honor Flight or Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Aurora Grafton Hospital and Germantown Center, Fresenius Dialysis West Bend, and the caregivers for ComForCare for their care and compassion.
