Ronald Henry
Schultz
January 19, 1934 – May 10, 2026
Ronald H. Schultz, age 92, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, in Jackson, Wisconsin, with his beloved wife by his side as he went to be with the Lord. He was born on January 19, 1934, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, a town dusted in winter’s calm. Ron’s early days unfolded beneath the quiet skies of Kewaskum, where he was raised by his parents, Henry and Gertrude (nee Albrecht) Schultz, and learned the values of faith and perseverance that would guide his long, devoted life.
In the gentle countryside of New Fane, Wisconsin, Ron first encountered Joyce (nee Kadinger) in the eighth grade; her laughter, bright and lilting, would become the song of his days. Their wedding, many years later, on April 9th, 2026, was the beginning of a love story quietly woven through seventy-three remarkable years. As if bound by a love that transcended time, Ron’s spirit held on for one last, precious anniversary. On that day, their hands found each other in a familiar, cherished clasp, as they had for a lifetime of shared joys and quiet hardships. Then, with his heart full and their bond reaffirmed, Ron slipped peacefully away just a day later, as though his soul could not depart until he had gifted Joyce one final moment of devotion. His passing, only a day after their anniversary, stands as a testament to a romance so deep that even life itself seemed to pause in reverence for their last embrace.
Ron’s life unfolded in the steady, earthy colors of hard work and quiet humility, a work ethic recognized by all who crossed his path. With unwavering diligence, he navigated the winding rural highways and snow-dusted backroads of Wisconsin as a truck driver, faithfully delivering dairy products through every season. His generosity was just as remarkable: whether lending a helping hand to friends or quietly supporting those in need, Ron’s kindness and generosity left a lasting imprint on the residents of Kewaskum. Beyond the demands of the road, his laughter echoed along the polished lanes of the local bowling alley, and his competitive spirit thrived in dartball games among friends at church. He and his beloved wife shared the thrill of casino nights, the neon lights reflecting in their smiles, savoring simple pleasures and warm camaraderie that made each moment memorable.
He cherished his children, Peggy and Todd, and the laughter of family gatherings that filled the home with warmth. Faith was the cornerstone of his days, and his devotion to church and choir was matched only by the gentle loyalty of the pets who curled at his feet.
Ron leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and simple joys. As snow falls softly on the fields he once called home, those who loved him remember a man whose quiet strength and steadfast love will echo in their hearts always.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the caregivers at Charter Residence in Jackson, as well as everyone at Preceptor Hospice, for their compassionate care and support.
A private family service will be held to honor Ron’s memory at Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend.
