Roger Elmer Rosenboom, 81, of West Bend, passed away on September 24, 2026, at St. Lukes Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Roger was born on May 18, 1945, in Lakefield, Minnesota, the son of the late Elmer and Dorothy (nee Baumgard) Rosenboom. Husband, Father, friend, and love of Judy’s life. Roger and Judy were married 56 years and had three children, Brenda (Christopher) Baer, Trevor Rosenboom (Tracy), and one we miss in our lives, Travis. Grandchildren are Roman, Benjamin, Victoria, Stephanie (Alex) Wilhelme and Shauna Kress. Great-grandchildren are Reid, Maelyn, Wyatt, and Hailey.

Roger was born in Lakefield, Minnesota growing up in the countryside of Verdi and after his tour in Germany as military police he came to West Bend in 1968, and married Judy on September 26, 1970. Roger is now in heaven with his son, Travis (37 years old), his parents, Dorothy and Elmer; his brother, Gary and wife Carolyn; his brother-in-law, Wally Otto; his mother and father-in-law, Siegfried and Laura Twachtmann.

Those of us on earth who will love him and miss him are his sister, Kathy Otto, Lois Wakefield and Dawn Rosenboom. Aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a myriad of golfing buddies.

Roger will be fishing with Judy’s dad along the waters across from Barton’s Newark Cemetery.

Judy loves him; she always loved him; and she will always love him till they meet again.

VISITATION: Roger’s family will greet relatives and friends at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend, on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

SERVICE: A service for Roger will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home followed by military honors.
