Roger A. Heberer's Obituary

Roger Allen Heberer, 92 years, of Campbellsport was called home to be with the Lord on April 4, 2026, at Serenity Villa in Campbellsport surrounded by his loving family.

Roger was born on June 21, 1933, in the Town of Auburn to John Sr. and Mildred Heberer (nee Krueger). He was united in marriage to Audrey Reuter in West Bend. Roger and Audrey were blessed with three daughters. Audrey passed away August 22, 2014.

He worked at RegalWare in Kewaskum from September 1952 to August 1953. Roger served in the United States Army from August 1953 to August 1955. In October 2015, he went on the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight to visit Washington, DC (It was a great day!). Roger went on to work for West Bend Company from August 1955 to May 1977. Then founded, owned, and operated Heberer Brothers Construction with his brothers, Norman and Bill. Roger retired in 1995.

Lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane. He served many years on its church council. Lifetime member of New Fane Sportsman’s Club, Lifetime member of Robert G Romaine American Legion Post #384 in Kewaskum and served as Post Commander. Member of Long Lake Fishing Club, Fisherman’s Road Fishing Club, and Charter Member of New Fane Kettle Riders Snowmobile Club and served on the board.

Roger loved fishing, hunting, traveling, and RVing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Those Roger leaves behind to cherish his memory include two daughters, Mary (Randy) Strupp and Wendy (George) Dondlinger; son-in-law, Paul Luterbach; four grandchildren, Sherry Luterbach, Bradley (Bren) Luterbach, Andrea (Chad) Eddy, and Jason (Jenna) Dondlinger; two step-grandchildren, Ross (Carrie) Strupp and Nichole (Michael) Sanfilippo; 7 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Norman (Maureen) Heberer, Bill (Judy) Heberer, Myron Heberer, Russell (LuAnn) Heberer, and Terry (Sue) Heberer. He is further survived by a sister-in-law, Deloris Reuter; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Heberer; a daughter, Linda Luterbach; brothers, John Heberer Jr. and Steven Heberer; grandson, Craig Jung; sister-in-law, Mary Braun-Hackbarth; and brothers-in-law, Alois Braun, George Reuter, Robert (Shirley)Reuter, and Virgil Hackbarth; and a special friend, Marie Heider.

VISITATION: Roger’s family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church New Fane (N683 County Road S, Kewaskum).

SERVICE: A Funeral Service in remembrance of Roger take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10th at St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane with Rev. Mark Eckert officiating. A Graveside Service with military honors will be at the church cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane are appreciated.
