Robert “Bob” Oscar Ratzburg, age 84, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, with his family by his side.

Bob was born on December 5, 1940, in Loyal, Wisconsin, to the late Louis and Clara Ratzburg (nee Schmidt). Bob graduated from Loyal High School in 1958. He went on to serve his country in the Air Force from 1960 to 1964. Bob worked as a Computer Programmer for the West Bend Company and started his own business Ratzburg Tree Service Paradise Gardens Nursery. He was united in marriage to Mary Jane Wondra on December 8, 1972. Bob and Mary Jane started the business and worked with the family until 2008 when they sold to Scott and Jason. Bob was a hard worker, enjoyed hunting, fishing, landscaping, greenhouse, tree cutting, going up to his cabin in Crivitz, making a lot of firewood and keeping the fireplace going. He was a proud husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Those left to cherish Bob’s memory include his wife, Mary Jane; children, Brenda (Gene) Hetebrueg, Scott (Kristen) Ratzburg, Jason (Liz) Ratzburg; grandchildren, Tyler (Heidi) Hetebrueg, Parker (Kallie) Ratzburg, Dakota (Beth) Ratzburg, Madison and Kolton Ratzburg, Austin and Patrick Ratzburg; great grandchildren, Phebe, Jimmi, Raymond Hetebrueg, Carson and Henry Ratzburg; Bob is also survived by his children Debbie, Darin, and Dave and their families.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his sister, Roma (Richard) Schram; daughter-in-law, Lori Ratzburg.

A private service for Bob will be held.
