Richard P. Dowhy, 69, of Slinger, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. He was born on January 20, 1949 in Milwaukee, the son of the late George and Sonia Dowhy. He graduated from West Milwaukee High School on June 15, 1967. Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked at E.R. Wagner for several years until his retirement. Richard enjoyed hunting, boating, watching NASCAR, and spending time at the lake with his friends.

Those Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory include his daughters, Jennifer Dowhy of Milwaukee and Kimberly (Lisa Morales) Dowhy of Milwaukee; grandson, Jonathan; great-grandchildren, Kiara and Harleen; and siblings, Robert, Greg, Tanya, and their families. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Richard’s family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, March 26, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St. West Bend, WI. 53095. Military Honors will immediately follow the visitation.
