Randy H. Kreif, 57, of Campbellsport, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.
Randy entered the world on March 3, 1968, in Sheboygan County, born to Karl and Joyce (Aupperle) Kreif, both now passed. On May 31, 2008, he married the love of his life, Beverly Gruber, in the comfort of their own backyard, a place that held as much heart as the vows they exchanged.
He was happiest in the Northwoods, whether tracking deer, calling in turkeys, or simply breathing in the quiet of the hunt. Cutting wood was more than a chore to him; it was a rhythm he enjoyed. He had a soft spot for darts, a passion for motorcycles, and a proud place among the Ozaukee Guzzlers M.C. known as “Sownuts”
Randy also found joy in the simple things, tending to the vegetables in his garden, watching them grow under his care, and sharing the harvest with the people he loved. When he wasn’t outdoors, he could often be found cheering on his favorite WWE wrestlers, fully invested in every match.
Randy carried a playful spirit, always ready with a joke, even if he was the one laughing the hardest. Beneath that humor lived a man with a big heart, devoted to his wife, his children, and his grandchildren, who were the true center of his world.
Those Randy leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Beverly; two children, Becky (Cale) Anderson and Rachel Kreif (special friend, James); three step children, Kevin Gruber, Matthew (Steph) Gruber, and Andy (Kate) Gruber; grandchildren, Myles and Nora Anderson with another granddaughter on the way; step grandchildren, Devin Gruber, Kendall Gruber, Maustin Gruber, and Madden Gruber; three brothers, Michael (Sue) Kreif, Ricky (Wendy) Kreif, and John (LaVerne) Kreif; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Marion Kreif, Barb (Rick) Heisler, Jim (Lois) Petersen, Joe (Linda) Petersen, and Bonnie (Russ) Neimuth;
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Joyce Kreif; a step granddaughter, Madison Gruber; two half brothers, Richard Kreif and Robert Kreif; and his father and mother-in-law, Gene and Joan Petersen.
Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Randy’s life and memories on Saturday, January 24th, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at the Rusty Spur (N412 County Rd S, Kewaskum) in New Fane.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the Campbellsport EMTs, Fond du Lac Paramedics, Froedtert Hospital staff, and Horizon Hospice for their devoted care, compassion, and support.
