Ralph R. Breuer

Ralph Breuer, age 84, of Juneau, was called to be with the Lord on June 26, 2025, at Hope Health and Rehab in Lomira. Born on November 22, 1940, son of the late Sylvester and Marie (nee Loosen) Breuer. He attended St. Lawrence Catholic School. On April 13, 1985 Ralph married Karin Koch at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Browns Corner. After leaving the farm, Ralph moved to Juneau and worked for Neil’s farming until he retired. Ralph and Karen moved into their own place in Juneau. Following retirement, Ralph got restless and needed something to do, so he took up delivering newspapers. Rain, snow or wind he was there to deliver the newspaper. His favorite stop after his route was Kwik Trip, on his way home to get his lunch. People got to know him as a friendly customer.

Ralph was a quiet person; few words were spoken, but his big smile said it all. Some of his favorite hobbies included farming, reading, and fixing things. He was an avid Brewer, Packer, and Badger Fan. He enjoyed playing Sheepshead and bingo with his friends at the home. He was known by his close friends as “Rabbit”.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his four sisters: Bernice Mueller, Esther Hofmaier, Dorothy Schmidt and Shirley Degrave. He is further survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Karin in 2022, parents, brother-in-laws Ted Mueller, Merle Hofmaier, Herbert Schmidt and Edward Degrave; nephews Jim Mueller, David Hofmaier.

A visitation for Ralph will be held on July 9, 2025, at Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend (1315 W. Washington St.) from 2-3:30 pm. Friends and family are invited for a service that will begin at 3:30 pm. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Hartford.

Family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses, and staff at Hope Health & Rehab and SSM Home Hospice Care for their love, care, and support given to Ralph.
