Obituary

Peter Norman Ott, 40, of Kewaskum, passed away on August 1, 2026 from his injuries, surrounded by the love, thoughts, and prayers of those who cared for him.

Peter graduated from Kewaskum High School in 2004. Peter found his greatest peace in the outdoors. He was an avid bow hunter who especially looked forward to deer hunting and elk hunting trips in the Colorado mountains. Whether he was hunting, fishing, mushroom picking or snowmobiling, he appreciated the challenge, quiet and freedom that nature provided.

A skilled craftsman, Peter owned and operated Blaze Builders, where he built pole barns, completed roofing projects, and took on a variety of construction work. He took pride in working with his hands and creating things built to last. One of his greatest personal accomplishments was purchasing a home in New Fane and completely transforming it through his own vision, hard work, and craftsmanship. His home was complete after he built his own large pole barn, wood and mechanic shop on his property.

Peter is survived by his mother, Jean DeBano, his father, Jeff (Sandra) Ott, and his sister, Karen Strobel. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to everyone who has offered their kindness and support during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 4:00 PM at The Rusty Spur in New Fane. Family and friends are invited to join in sharing stories, remembering Peter, and celebrating his life.
