Patricia “Patti” Ann Winkels, age 74 years, of Milwaukee was called home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2022 at her home.

Patti was born on March 19, 1948 in Milwaukee to Aloysius and Margaret Winkels (Goyette).

Patti graduated from Brown Deer High School in 1967.  In her younger years, Patti owned and operated a beauty salon in Butler.  She was Cookie Coordinator for the Girl Scouts of America for a number of years.  She was known as “Momma Pat” at the United States Bowling Congress, where she coordinated, planned, and supervised the many bowling events domestically and internationally.

Those Patti leaves behind to cherish her memory include her siblings, Kathleen (Sherry Heisler) Stoffel and Anthony (Christine) Winkels; sister-in-law, Laurie Winkels; nieces, Denise Stoffel, Lisa Winkels, Wendy (Michael) Schmit, Jacqueline (Brandon) Broeckel, Samantha and Paulette Winkels;  and nephew, Matthew (Samantha) Winkels.  She is further survived by great-aunts, great-uncles, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, other cousins, relatives and friends.  Her dogs were dear to her as well.

In addition to her parents, Patti was preceded in death by her brother, Peter Winkels; niece, Rebecca Winkels; and Patti’s dear friend, Willie Gordon.

A Celebration of Patti’s Life will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 5:30 pm at Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home (1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI  53095).  The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until the time of Service.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital in Mequon for their care and compassion.
