Patricia “Pat” Ann Schneider (nee Olson), 86, found peace on Monday, September 7, 2026 surrounded by family. Pat was a proud and devoted great-grandmother, grandmother and mother. She was known for her resilience as well as her dedication and love for her family. Co-workers and colleagues at Marquette Electronics mention her spirit and positivity, always lightening the mood. She was honored to be one of the first 100 employees there. When not working or spending time with family and her animals, Pat enjoyed exploring the outdoors, shopping, and spending time with friends.

Pat was born on March 9, 1940 in Independence, WI, to the late Leonard and Carol Olson (nee Peterson). Pat was united in marriage to Emil George Jr., and they had three children together. She later married Gerald Schneider in July of 1998; he preceded Pat in death in January of 2017.

Pat leaves behind beloved family in western Wisconsin (where she was born, raised and lived at different times in life) as well as southeastern Wisconsin (where she raised her children and settled for most of her adult life). Those left to cherish Pat’s memory include her children, Brian J. George (Wife, Linda) and David J. George (Wife, Alejandra); grandchildren, Nicholas P. George (Wife, Laura), Samantha “Sam” George (Partner, Max Collens), Keeley Van Genderen, Alexis “Lexie” George, and Madelyn “Maddie” Toney George (Partner, Connor Braun); great-grandchildren, Sebastian George and Veda Van Genderen; sisters, Diana Halverson, Janet Kampa, and Leona Moga; brothers, Spencer Olson, Michael “Mikey” Olson, and Daniel “Danny” Olson; multiple nieces, nephews, and friends (notably Beverly Andrus).

In addition to her parents and husbands, Pat is preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn M. George, as well as her brothers, Allen “Buddy” Olson, Leslie Olson, Steven Olson, and Conrad Olson.

A special thank you to Jeffrey George and his mother Lee George, who were always there to support Pat.

Remembrance of life celebrations will be held in both southeastern and western Wisconsin. The first gathering is September 23 between 5-8 PM at the Moose Lodge (Lodge 1398) 1721 Chestnut Street, West Bend WI 53095. Meals will be served at 6:30 PM – If you will be joining for the meal, an RSVP is requested (npgeorgeuw@gmail.com). An additional remembrance of life celebration will be held on October 3rd at the Arcadia Country Club Restaurant at 305 Golf Lane #2716, Arcadia, WI 54612 from 11AM-2PM with lunch served – If you will be joining for the meal, an RSVP is requested (npgeorgeuw@gmail.com).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to the ASPCA in memory of Pat.
