Obituary
Norma A. Darmody, nee Wendtland, age 88, of West Bend, passed away on Tuesday April 26, 2011 at her residence.
She was born on September 19, 1922, in Thiensville to the late Ernest and Amanda (nee Drik) Wendtland. On June 25, 1949, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Smith. Lloyd preceded her in death on April 7, 2000. On October 8, 2005, Norma was united in marriage to Clyde Darmody. Clyde preceded her in death on October 16, 2007.
Norma was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in West Bend. Norma is survived by her three children, Karen Spletter of Phoenix, AZ, Sue Smith of West Bend and Gary (Ruth) Smith of Random Lake; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. In honor of Norma's wishes, a private family service was held in Washington County Memorial Park.
