Michael J. “Mike” Muenchow, 59, of Allenton entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 19, 2018. He was born on May 2, 1958 in Milwaukee, the son of Kenneth and Maxine Muenchow. Mike was an accomplished welder and worked at Maysteel Industries for many years. He loved the outdoors; snowmobiling, gardening, and boating.  One of his favorite places was Shawano Lake where he loved being on the water, skiing, and spending time with his family. Above all, Mike loved his family.

Those Mike leaves behind to cherish his memory include his children, Jacqui Gumtow of West Bend and Lucas Muenchow of Texas; grandchildren, Lucas, Kristine, Sami, and Maria; his parents, Ken and Maxine Muenchow; siblings, Mark (Robin) Muenchow and Kristi (David) Muenchow; step-sons Steve (Kris) Skorbier and Tom (Julie) Skorbier; aunts Sandy (Bob) Potter and Mousie; and Godfather Bill (Sally) Biscobing. He is further survived by nephews, Eric (Kelly) Muenchow, Josh Muenchow, and Marcus Muenchow, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his step-son, Paul Skorbier.

Mike’s family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 p.m. at Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St. West Bend, WI. 53095.
