Obituary
Mavis E. Bartelt, nee Milbrath, age 82, of Allenton, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Kathy Hospice.
She was born on May 30, 1927 in Milwaukee to the late Herbert and Anita (nee Schultz) Milbrath. On February 14, 1948, Mavis was united in marriage to Alfred Bartelt at Siloah Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.
She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Aux. Fohl Martin Post #483. Mavis enjoyed crocheting, baking and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred; her son, Jim (Noreen) Bartelt of Allenton; two grandchildren, Karrie Bartelt of Ripon and Dawn (Matt) Bartell of West Bend; three great-grandchildren, Magen, Brianna and Courtney; one sister, Donna Olsen of Rolla, MO; one sister-in-law, Ruth Tomzak of Menomonee Falls; other relatives and friends.
In accordance with Mavis's wishes, there will be no services.
Memorials in Mavis' name to the American Heart Association are appreciated by the family.
