Mary J. Roell (nee Hensler), 79, of West Bend found peace on Saturday, July 13, 2019.

She was born on January 26, 1940 to the late Elmer and Loraine (nee Barns) Hensler in West Bend. On July 9, 1960 she was united in marriage to Eugene Roell. Mary worked as a secretary for many years until retirement. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, and going shopping. Mary especially enjoyed spending time with her family and all her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Those Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Eugene Roell; a son, Jeff (Shelly) Roell; two grandchildren, Sydney Roell and Tyler Roell; A great grandson, Greyson Roell; three brothers, Paul (Bev) Hensler, Bob (Paula) Hensler, and Tom (Karen) Hensler; four brothers-in-law, Bobby Roell, Donald (Dee) Roell, David Roell, and Jack Roell; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by six sisters-in-law, Marian Roell, Margaret Roell, Mary Roell, Maddie Roell, Jan Roell, and Patricia Hensler; and a brother-in-law, Ed Heizle.

A funeral service in remembrance of Mary will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
