Mary Ann Gruber-Richards, age 76 years, of Random Lake, formerly of Campbellsport was called home to be with the Lord on September 28, 2025, at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born on July 27, 1949, in Okinawa, Japan to Joseph and Taeko Gruber (nee Takamine).

Mary graduated from Campbellsport High School. She enjoyed crafting and sewing and lived for her horses and other animals. Mary loved making clothing and costumes for her beloved grandchildren.

Those Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory include children, Gregory Chmielewski, Robert Chmielewski, Lisa (Rob) Helm, Larry (Jessica) Chmielewski, and Nicole Carini; 18 grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is further survived by her siblings, Hatsue (Hisao) Yoshimoto, Cathy Engelman, Patricia Takamine, Tony (Pam) Gruber, Monica (Dennis) Kelley, Lena (Tom) Hennessy, John Gruber, Gene (Pam) Gruber, and Rick (Michelle) Gruber, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Taeko Gruber.

VISITATION: Mary’s family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service – 215 Forest Avenue – Kewaskum, WI 53040.

SERVICE: A Memorial Service in remembrance of Mary will take place immediately following the visitation at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
