Marlis Jean R. Boldt, 80, of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.
Marlis was born on July 7, 1938, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Elroy and Lavern (nee Krahn) Boeldt. On September 29, 1956, she was united in marriage to Gerald Boldt at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in West Bend. Marlis enjoyed, bowling, camping, needle work, crocheting, and making countless afghans for family.
Those Marlis leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Gerald; three children, Kristine (Patrick) Riebe of Kendall, Korrine (Gene) Zimmerman of Jackson, Kurtis (Debra) Boldt of Jackson; five grandchildren, Brandee (Chad) Michels, Tanya (Travis) Watry, Chad Zimmerman, Collin (Brooke) Boldt, and Conner Boldt; five great-grandchildren, Connor, Alyssa, Beckett, Charlotte, and Mildred; three siblings, Ronald (Darlene) Boeldt, Sherry (Roger) Sauter, and Randall (Jayne) Boeldt; two brothers-in-law, Robert (Beatrice) Boldt and John (Patty) Boldt; a sister-in-law, Patricia (Herbert) Sponholz; other relatives and friends.
A funeral service for Marlis will be held at Noon on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 809 S. 6th Avenue, in West Bend. Burial will follow at Washington County Memorial Park.
Marlis’ family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 17, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
