Mark Freiberg, 67, of Trenton, was born to eternal life on Sunday, October 4th, 2026 after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Beckey Freiberg (nee Dunton) for 27 years.

Mark was born on December 21, 1958 in Milwaukee to the late Elmer Freiberg and Lois Pettit. Mark graduated from Shorewood High School. Mark spent most of his working life in Sales. He loved his pets Charlie the black lab and his cat Ollie, along with his Harley’s.

Mark enjoyed working in his yard, and he could figure out how to repair just about anything in the house. He loved nothing more than to complete a home project. Mark was an amazing cook and loved grilling. Cooking for others and creating new recipes was his passion. He was known for his steaks, French onion soup, and his Thanksgiving dinners that were 2nd to none. The kitchen was his happy place.

Those left to cherish Mark’s memory include his wife, Beckey; brother, Jeffrey Dodey; sister, Susan (Richard) Rekowski; brothers-in-law, Travis Westley, Troy Westley, and Kyle Westley; sisters-in-law, Heather (James Jr.) Snyder, Dawn Kelley, and Susan Kurek; nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives. Mark will be greatly missed by all.

In addition to his parents, Mark is preceded in death by his brother, Kurt Freiberg; parent-in-laws, Robert Westley and Nancy Dunton.

Per Mark’s wishes there will be no formal funeral service planned.
