Mark Lloyd Boden, age 66, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 8, 2026, with his family by his side.

Mark was born on November 5, 1959, in West Bend, to the late Richard and Lorraine Boden (nee Westerman). On May 22, 1981, Mark married the love of his life, Nancy Theisen, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, embarking on a journey filled with love, adventure, and cherished memories. Together, they built a life rich with family and tradition, and their union was a testament to enduring love and support. Mark was known for his unwavering willingness to help those around him. He took an active role in his faith community, volunteering his time and expertise on the Building and Grounds Committee at Holy Trinity, and caring for the bell tower. A proud collector, Mark found joy in amassing items that sparked his interest and passion. An avid outdoorsman, Mark found solace and joy in nature. He loved riding his Harley through the scenic Kettle Moraine, camping with family, and embarking on memorable fishing trips to Canada. His zest for life was evident in every hunting and fishing expedition, and he treasured the time spent with his grandchildren, sharing his love of the outdoors and instilling values that will last a lifetime. Mark will be remembered not only for his kindness and generosity but also for his lively spirit and infectious laughter. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will forever resonate within his family and friends.

Those left to cherish Mark’s memory include his wife, Nancy; children, Christopher (Stacy) Boden, Lisa (Nic) Cole, and Emily (Collin) Scherbert; grandchildren, Paige Boden, Brooke Boden, Hazel Cole, William Scherbert, and Evelyn Scherbert; brothers, Jeff (Kris) Boden and Terry Boden; brother-in-law, Robert “Murph” Ruplinger; sister-in-law, Susan(Gary) Peters; brother-in-law, Peter (Luanne) Theisen, John (Michele) Theisen; nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents and parents-in-law, Mark is preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Ruplinger.

MEMORIAL MASS: A Memorial Mass for Mark will take place on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (331 Main Street, Kewaskum, WI) at 3:00 p.m., with Father Ed Kornath officiating the Mass. Burial will take place following Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a local charity of your choice.
