Marjorie A. “Margie” Hebert, 85, of Jackson, passed away on August 8, 2026, at Cedar Community in West Bend.

Margie was born on December 13, 1940, in Black River Falls, the daughter of the late Hubert and Norma (nee Helle) McNamer. She spent most of her life growing up in Milwaukee, where fate brought her together with the love of her life, Thomas Hebert, a meeting made even more memorable by Thomas arriving in his red convertible. On October 6, 1962, Margie and Thomas were united in marriage in Milwaukee and began a life filled with love, family, and countless memories. Thomas preceded her in death on May 14, 2000.

Margie dedicated 37 years of her working life to the JCPenney Distribution Center, where she built lasting friendships and took great pride in her work.

Outside of work, Margie found her greatest happiness in the people she loved. She cherished gatherings with family and friends, especially when there was a birthday or holiday to celebrate. She was a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers and especially enjoyed cheering on the Milwaukee Bucks.

But above all, Margie was a family person. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every opportunity to be together with those she loved. She took particular delight in doting on her grandson, Branden, who held a very special place in her heart. To Margie, the greatest joys in life were found not in things, but in the people sitting around the table, the celebrations shared together, and the memories made along the way.

Those Margie leaves behind to cherish her memory include two children, Wendy (Gary) Radmer and Jeff Hebert (Mary Ann Harrison); her grandson, Branden Hebert; Branden’s mother, Shelley Hebert; three sisters, Sharon Starr, Lana Machwitz, and Pamela (David) Komas; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Margie was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Holger Machwitz, Joan (Gerald) Odash, and Jean (Terry) Datka.

VISITATION: Margie’s family will greet relatives and friends at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1025 South 7th Avenue, in West Bend, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

SERVICE: A Mass of Christian Burial for Margie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27th, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
