Marilyn L. Liepert, 94, of West Bend, passed away on January 15, 2026, at The Aspen at Cedar Lake in West Bend.
Marilyn entered the world on January 26, 1931, in West Bend, born to Albert and Louise (nee Duernberger) Albinger. She graduated from West Bend High School in 1948, and a few years later, on May 12, 1951, she married Ralph Liepert at Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church, the same church where she later served three years on the Board of Trustees.
While her husband was in the service, Marilyn worked at Hershey’s. She spent part of her working life at Enger‑Kress, but her heart was always with the people she loved. Family gatherings were her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment with her grandson, listening eagerly as he shared his latest interests.
Marilyn and Ralph were enthusiastic travelers, exploring many destinations together, with Hawaii holding a special place in their hearts. They also delighted in visiting Yellowstone National Park to watch Old Faithful, and Marilyn made frequent trips to South Dakota to spend time with relatives.
Through all of life’s chapters, she remained a devoted partner, especially during Ralph’s service in Korea.
Those Marilyn leaves behind to cherish her memory include two children, Kenneth (Karen) Liepert and Randy (Aimee) Liepert; a grandson, Ian Liepert; a brother, Thomas (Patricia) Albinger; two sisters-in-law, Janice (Allan) Kempf and Gloria Liepert; other relatives and friends.
