Marianne L. Strobel, 86, of Slinger, passed away on December 31, 2022, at Serenity Villa in Slinger.
Marianne was born on February 18, 1936, the daughter of the late Carl and Marianne Hahn. On February 27, 1954, she was united in marriage to Joseph J. Strobel in Milwaukee. Joseph preceded Marianne in death on October 18, 2022.
Marianne went to Washington High School in Milwaukee and furthered her education at Moraine Park Technical College, earning a degree in accounting. She was employed at Cedar Lake Home in West Bend as an administrative assistant. Marianne enjoyed riding the Harley with Joe, gardening, and their campfires up at Long Lake.
Those Marianne leaves behind to cherish her memory include two children, Peggy (Troy) Kuebler of Jackson, WI and Corey (Joy) Strobel of Yorba Linda, CA; four grandchildren, Melinda (Duane) Basterash, Carly (Nunzio) Vallone, Angela (Chris) Dewall, and Adam (Lyndsey) Dziadosz; six great- grandchildren, Makayla Scherr, Evan Kemmeter, Hudson Dewall, Jackson Dewall, Elliott Dziadosz, and Owen Dziadosz; a sister, Linda (Terry) Townsend; a step-brother, Irving Hahn; two sisters-in-law, Jacqueline (Ronald) Schilling and Joyce Meyer; a brother-in-law, John (Cathy) Strobel; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Dziadosz; a grandson, Brandon Van Pietersom; a step-brother, Carl Hahn; two sisters-in-law, Joanne Strobel and Judy (Larry) Parks; and a brother-in-law, Jerry (Lori) Strobel.
MEMORIAL MASS: A Memorial Mass in remembrance of Marianne will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Hill – Shrine Chapel (3rd Floor), 1525 Carmel Rd, Hubertus, WI.
