Margie Eileen Schickert (nee Kiehl), 84, found peace on Sunday, August 2, 2026 and is now with our Savior Jesus Christ to spend her eternal life.

Margie was born on July 22, 1942 in Hartford to the late Elmer and Celia Kiehl (nee Kress). Margie graduated from Hartford High School in 1960. Margie loved to cook, spend time with her family and friends. She loved doing needlepoint. She worked for many years in Miller's Outpost accounting department, cashier in a couple grocery stores and she worked delivering for Meals on Wheels.

Those left to cherish Margie’s memory include her children, Julie Baertlein, and Lisa (Jim) Cannon, grandchildren, Justin Baertlein, Chris (Renee Barker) Baertlein, Jimmy Cannon, Jr, and Brandi (Zack) Morrison; great- grandchildren, Payton Cannon, Sierra Morrison and Goldie Morrison; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Margie is preceded in death by her son, Thomas Schickert Jr.

VISITATION: Margie’s family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service (1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend, WI 53095)

MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service for Margie will take place following visitation on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service with Father Brady Gagne officiating the service. Inurnment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park.
