Lisa Pearl Brooks (Curry), of Cascade, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, at the age of 60, surrounded by her loving family. Lisa was born on August 21, 1965, and spent her life devoted to her family, friends, and animals.
Lisa attended West Bend High School and later worked for many years at Poly Vinyl, as well as Stemper Farms and Knoelke Farms. On April 11, 1997, she married the love of her life, Robbie Brooks, beginning a marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.
Lisa had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, gardening, camping, canning for her children, and hiking with her dogs. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and caring for her animals, particularly her horses, cows, chickens, and dogs. In the more than 20 years of dog training, Lisa earned several national titles in bench shows and field trials, including an AKC World Show Championship in 2009.
Known for her generosity and warm spirit, Lisa was always willing to share fresh eggs from her chickens with family and friends. She treasured time spent with her sister Kelly, whether taking trips together or simply enjoying coffee and conversation. Lisa will be remembered for her sense of humor, kind heart, contagious laughter, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her fun-loving personality and caring nature made her deeply loved by all who knew her.
Lisa is survived by her devoted husband, Robbie Brooks; her children, Adam Rosenthal, Korin Rosenthal (Edward), Savanna Brooks, and Ryan (Ashley) Brooks; and her beloved grandchildren, Aubree, Isabelle, Natalie, and Reed. She is also survived by her parents-in-law, Joan and Gerald Harter; her sisters; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Earl O’Brien; her brothers, David O’Brien and Richard Curry; and many beloved aunts and uncles.
