Leon “Lee” Arthur Grimm, 85, passed away unexpectedly on November 14, 2022.

Lee was born on October 4, 1937 in Milwaukee to the late Arthur and Mary (nee Curran) Grimm. He was united in marriage to the love of his life and best friend Ellen Schmidt on May 31, 1958 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Lee enjoyed the outdoors and being with family and friends. He believed “Family First”.  Lee was often found attending countless sporting events for children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. When he wasn’t supporting his family, you could find Lee watching and cheering on Notre Dame Football.

Lee worked for US Postal Service for 35 years. During retirement, he passionately volunteered at the Full Shelf Food Pantry in West Bend for 27 years and made valued friendships.

Those left to cherish Lee’s memory include his wife, Ellen Grimm; three children, Debra (Scott) Gloede, Mark Grimm, and Michelle (Jerry) Rinehart; six grandchildren, Heather Sheehan, Andrea Latzl, Kaitlyn Gutknecht, Adam Grimm, Erik Grimm, and Hannah Sonneland; ten great grand-children, Owen, Luke, Olive, Paige, Tess, Liam, Erin, Toby, Fritz, and Freya; friends and relatives.

In addition to his parents, Lee is preceded in death by his brother Dennis Grimm and granddaughter Erin Gutknecht.

VISITIATION: Family will greet friends and relatives on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1315 West Washington Street, West Bend, WI.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: A Memorial Service for Lee will be held on Monday, November, 21, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremation Service with Dan Schroeder Officiating.
