Kenneth M. Troedel, 63, of Green Bay, formerly of West Bend, passed away Friday, July 18, 2008 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Green Bay.

He was born on January 20, 1944 in West Bend to the late Howard and Ruby (nee Cook) Troedel. Ken graduated from West Bend High School in 1962. He then worked as a meat cutter at Sentry Foods in West Bend and later at Kohl's Foods in Milwaukee and Green Bay. Ken also worked at Oneida Casino in Green Bay for two years.

Ken thought the world of his children and grandchildren. He was very likeable and was kind to everyone. All who met Ken liked him. He is survived by his wife, Donna; three children, Mike (Donna) Troedel of Memphis, TN, Kim (Brian) Barnett of Orlando, FL; and Mark (Jen) Troedel of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren, Ryan, Logan, Kayla, Miranda, and Kirsten; a sister, Karen (Gary) Schneider of West Bend; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, August 1 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1025 S. 7th Ave., West Bend, with Rev. Jeffrey Haines officiating. Burial of Ken's cremated remains will be in Holy Angels Cemetery, West Bend.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society or St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
