Kenneth A. Sauter

Kenneth A. “Ken” Sauter, age 87 years, of West Bend was called home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2026, at Kathy Hospice in West Bend surrounded by his loving family.

Ken was born on April 28, 1938, in Plymouth to Arnold and Lorinda Sauter (Kumrow). He was united in marriage to Kay Hoffman on July 28, 1962, in Tacoma, Washington.

Ken graduated from Waldo High School in 1957. He proudly served in the Army National Guard. Ken was a Tool and Die Maker by trade and worked in various manufacturing facilities as an Engineer.

Those Ken leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 63 years, Kay; children, David (Paula) Sauter, Mary (Dennis Gleason) Becker, and Julie (Dale) Grosskurth; grandchildren, Nicole (Shaun), Lauren (Andrew), Lucas, Rachel (Mitchell), and William; and great-grandson, Kayden. He is further survived by his brother, Calvin (Ramona) Sauter; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen (Bob) Stephan.

Private family services were held.  Ken's final resting place is at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Froedtert West Bend Hospital and Kathy Hospice for their care and compassion.
