Their marriage produced a daughter, Susan (Kevin), a son, Daniel, granddaughter, Kari (Paul) Oshinski, granddaughter Melissa Montie and Aiden. Ken was a great husband, father and grandfather. Ken and Karen knew from the beginning they would spend their entire lives together with the deep-seated love they had for each other.

Kenneth Garrett Keel was the son of the late Garrett and Inez Keel (nee Weiss). He was born in Monroe, WI. As a young boy he was in Boy Scouts. In High School he was a star track runner, played football and was a lifeguard at the pool.

After graduation he served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. Upon his honorable discharge, he enrolled in MSOE and graduated with a degree in Metallurgy.
