Kathy A. Zastrow (nee Backhaus), 67, of Mayville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

She was born on December 7, 1956, to the late Orville and Dorothy (nee Kranz) in Beaver Dam, WI. On November 3, 1979, she was united in marriage to Michael S. Zastrow in Lomira, WI. Together they raised their three children. Kathy enjoyed traveling with her family as a child. She loved gardening and flowers and had a huge garden. Kathy always kept herself busy. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those Kathy leaves behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Michael S. Zastrow; three children, Scott (Frances) Zastrow, Arienne Zastrow, and Angela (Mario) Geschke; seven grandchildren, Cameron, Abigail, Tiana, Roger, Hunter, Kenzie, and Jozie; three brothers, Gerald (Eileen) Backhaus, Tom (Gail) Backhaus, and Dennis (Theresa) Backhaus; brother-in-law, Gary (Laura) Zastrow; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

A private Celebration of Life for Kathy will be held at a later time.
