Kathy Ann Brightman, 65, passed away on June 18th, 2026 after a brief stay in West Bend, WI.

Kathy Ann Sutherland was born on June 25th, 1960 in Wakefield, MI, and was a graduate of Luther L Wright High School (Ironwood, MI) in 1978.

She was the loving mother of four children — Nathan (Karri) Toth, Joshua (Lindsey) Toth, Jeremy (Ariyanna) Toth, and Hannah (Samuel) Mbiah — and the proud grandmother of Ava, Samuel Jr., Malachi, and Asher.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, David Sutherland and Elaine Thomas (Matiska), as well as her brother, James Sutherland.

The family extends a special thank you to all of the caregivers who supported and cared for Kathy over the past several years.

Private services will be held at a later date.
