Karen Lee Gnatzig (nee Lindberg), 86, was surrounded by her family as she ascended to the loving arms of the Lord on April 20th, 2026. Karen was born August 14th, 1939, in Marinette WI. She was a graduate of Coleman High School and went on to attend Milwaukee School of Nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse. Karen’s family and friends will remember her sense of humor, kindness, giving nature, and selflessness. Even to her last moments she was more concerned with others.

Karen was preceded in death by her father Alvin Lindberg, mother Lucille Lindberg (nee Trimble), her brother James Lindberg and other family.

Those left to cherish Karen’s memory include her husband, Martin; her three sons Todd, Curtis (Michelle), Eric (Jennifer); her 10 grandchildren Ryan, Tanner, Cole, Ethan, Libby, Samantha, and Matthew Gnatzig and Benjamin, Henry (Mikayla), and Thomas (Angelina) Schuelke; along with her sister Nancy (Richard) Harvey; nieces’, nephews’, other family, and countless friends.

A celebration of Karen’s life will be held on May 2nd, 2026, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church (7750 Hwy 144 West Bend WI. 53090), from 11:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.

Following the celebration of life a funeral service for Karen will take place at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Vierkant officiating the service.
