Starts at 11:00 am (Central time)
Judith “Judy” Mary Geidel (nee Marx), 85, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
Judy was born on June 16,1940, in West Bend, to the late Harold “Mixie” and Eleanor (nee Hron) Marx. She graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1958. Judy was united in marriage to William “Bill” Geidel on January 20, 1962, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum where she was a lifetime member. Bill preceded Judy in death on December 13, 2010.
In her younger years, Judy worked at Regal Ware as a secretary. Judy and Bill were fourth-generation grocery store owners in Kewaskum from 1977 until 2000. She took great pride in her faith, her business and her community, building lifelong friendships. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for those she loved. Judy had a way of making people feel welcome and bringing people together. She enjoyed traveling and creating memories with family and friends. Judy especially cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, taking great interest in their lives and accomplishments. She was the heart of the family. Whether simply sharing stories, going for a car ride, or enjoying a Diet Coke, Judy found joy in life's simple moments. Her love, strength, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Those left to cherish Judy’s memory include her children Michael (Debbie) Geidel, Rebecca (Doug) Hammes, and Angela Tennies; grandchildren Sarah Tye, Kayla (Bill) Kumrow, and Ethan (Katherine) Geidel, Paige and Brynn Hammes, and Nicole, Tessa, and Jaelle Tennies; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Sawyer, and Everett Tye, Liam and Addisyn Kumrow, Chandler, Vincent, Marley, and Sydney Geidel; sisters, Susan Waala and Mary Laatsch; sisters-in-law Delores Jandre and Thelma Geidel, nieces and nephews, and many good friends.

A Memorial Mass will take place at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 16th at 11:00 with Father Patrick Magnor officiating. In honor of Judy’s wishes, a private burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Campbellsport.
