Joyce Marie Dries

Joyce Marie Dries (nee Herman), 90, was called home to be with the Lord on September 2, 2025 with her family by her side.

Joyce was born on June 1, 1935, in Kewaskum to the late Sylvester and Cecila (nee Krell) Herman. She was united in marriage to Robert Dries on February 19, 1955 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend. Joyce was a long-time employee of The Exclusive Company. She was also a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church for 70 years. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Those left to cherish Joyce’s memory include her husband of 70 years, Robert; three children, Richard (Deborah) Dries, Kay Dries, and Mary (Don) Kannenberg; three grandchildren, Christopher (Herly) Dries, Sarah (Karl) Halterman, and Collin (Kelsey) Kannenberg; five great-grandchildren, Hailey Halterman, Hannah Halterman, Abigail Dries, Cecilia Kannenberg, and Blaise Kannenberg; brother, Bob (Karen) Herman; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her brother Howard Herman.

VISITATION: Joyce’s family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., at Holy Angels Catholic Cemetery (138 N 8th Ave, West Bend, WI).

MEMORIAL MASS: A Memorial Mass for Joyce will follow visitation at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Charlie Zabler officiating the service. A private burial will take place after Mass.

In lieu of flowers donations in Joyce’s memory can be made to the Threshold of West Bend. The family would also like to thank the staff at Ivy Manor for their care and compassion while Joyce was there.
